Massive Angry Birds Stella Update Out Now
The much anticipated Angry Birds Stella v1.1.0 update has finally landed on iOS and Android via Google Play. Note, a few lucky Nesters, including @josm, got early access to this update.This update includes a TON of changes, which @filipersr breaks down in detail here. - Revamped Map - You now get a birds eye view of Golden Island with access to new special event levels.
- Chose Your Lineup - In the event levels you get to pick your lineup. Each level has a maximum number of birds you can chose.
- Random Levels - Per rovio, "A nearly infinite number of levels on the map!"
- Treasures - Like in Angry Birds Epic when you complete a special event level you get to spin the wheel for a chance to win treasures and coins. If you assembled the right collection you can unlock perks.
- Themed Levels - I haven't seen any of these yet, but these levels could be themed around any holiday, event, etc.
- Old Levels Still Playable - When I first opened up the app I thought they were gone, but they appear after you play the first level. All my progress was still intact, which is awesome. Though, I am disappointed that my highscore still doesn't appear at the top right of each level. Hopefully Rovio will address this, as not showing it doesn't make any sense to me.

Angry Birds 2015 Sneak Peek – 2 New Puzzle Games from Rovio
2015 is not even a month old and Rovio has already released an expansive update to Angry Birds Space and HockeyBird made his debut as a playable character in Angry Birds Friends. So what does the future hold for Angry Birds games in 2015? Here's a sneak peek at two games already soft-launched in different parts of the world - Angry Birds Fight! and Angry Birds Stella POP!Continuing the trend of breaking into new game types started in 2014, comes two puzzle games in the same vein as popular puzzle games, Candy Crush Saga and Bejeweled. These games are already available for download in the iTunes store certain countries. Angry Birds Stella Chinese New Year Update Out Now

It's the Chinese New Year! We’re ringing in the year of the goat with new themed levels in the Island Map. Play the new Chinese New Year levels until the end of February!With that said, upon playing I am not seeing much new content ... yet. My hunch is that the new content is set to unlock on Thursday, February 19th, 2015, as that's the start of the Chinese New Year. I know it's not a lot to go on, but if you happen to see new content pop up please let us know by commenting below (I'm sure @Dr-Omega) will be keeping his super-sleuthing eyes peeled).We suspect this special event will include:
- New Challenges: such as "Rescue the Fortune Box" - we might see more.
- New Levels: Be sure to check the Golden Island Map daily.
- New Items: Let us know if you collect any of them.
- The Chinese New Year starts on Thursday February 19th
